Character Sketches
Character shown in nature and the Bible, 3 hardback volumes of 400 pages each. These beautifully illustrated books are full of stories and examples of character - in the Bible and in nature. Each book is divided into character qualities and each character quality is further divided into different aspects of the quality and an animal and a Biblical character who either did or did not show that aspect of the quality. Just one of them or the set of three is a great read-aloud, storytime, Bible time, or private study supplement to reinforce character and scriptural principles.
Sovereign in the Affairs of Men
If you desire an inspiring, wow! kind of family devotional for the family who loves history and God’s Word, this is the one for you! Kayla explains how Scripture after Scripture has been played out on God’s big stage throughout time. Find out how God said what would be for the welfare would become a snare - and how this is exactly what happened when Caligula was assassinated by his own body guards; how God said that Christians would overcome by the word of their testimony - and how this is exactly what happened when the Church overcame Emperor Diocletian in 311 A.D. A great read aloud!
Power for True Success
What makes those who follow Christ different is seen in our character and how we interact with the those around us. Above all, it explains how true success comes from pleasing God. A great supplement for middle school and high school CQLA students.

This fully illustrated, hard cover, coffee table book provides an analogy between the eagle and how it chooses to rise above or be defeated by its habits. At the end is advice on applying the story to someone’s own life. A great gift or read-aloud. Excellent CQLA supplement for middle school and high school students.
Pineapple Story
Every child has of list of things that he thinks should be “his.” This fully illustrated, hard cover, picture book tells the true story of how a missionary learned that his desire to hold on to his own pineapples got in the way of sharing the gospel, and how he learned to give them to God. Tape series is a humorous look at how God taught a missionary about character. Both are great supplements to CQLA. Book is hardcover - and quite a deal!
